Red Food
So red, so easy.
Watch Dr Broccoli make food red
You need:

1 cup soya mince
-
1 cup lentils (brown or green)

Olive oil
-
2 onions
-
1 chilli
-
1 red pepper
-
3 cloves garlic
-
some broccoli
-
4 carrots
-
3 sticks celery
-
2 tins chopped tomato
-
Tomato puree
-
Worcestershire sauce
-
Chutney
-
Peas
-
Vegetable stock
-
Mixed herbs
-
Salt
-
Black pepper
Do it
- Mix 1 stock cube with about 300ml of boiling water and cover the dried soya mince and leave to stand for about 15 mins
- Cover the lentils with boiling water and a tsp of salt and simmer for about 20 mins or until just soft.
- Chop onions, chilli, red pepper and celery and fry in oil
- Chop up carrots and broccoli and garlic and add to onions
- When softening, add 2 tins of chopped tomatoes, a good squeeze of tomato puree, 2 TBSP chutney, 2BSP Worcestershire sauce, lots of black pepper and some mixed herbs
- Add the lentils and soya mince
- Add some veg stock if necessary
- Bring to boil and then let it simmer on low heat for about 30 mins
